Yeshiva Day School of Las Vegas

A Torah Oasis
in the Desert

Fifteen years ago, Las Vegas was hardly on the map of America’s Jewish communities. That changed when Chofetz Chaim sent two of their rabbis to establish a Yeshiva Day school in the heart of Las Vegas. With a small group of just seven students, these dedicated educators set out to build a future for Jewish education and continuity in the city.

Their vision helped transform Las Vegas into a thriving Torah oasis in the desert. Yeshiva Day School of Las Vegas has grown from a student body of seven to a vibrant educational institution with 275 students —and it continues to expand with the growing Las Vegas community.

Now, we're ready to take on the next part of the journey.
Our new building will provide us with more opportunities for growth and greatness. As an integral part of the community, YDLV is committed to fostering an environment where students can thrive academically, spiritually, and socially. Our administrators, teachers, parents, and students all work together to make this vision a reality, and we invite you to join us on this incredible journey.

About YDLV

YDLV’s mission is to nurture the next generation of Jewish leaders by instilling a love for Torah and Judaism in every child. With a rigorous education program that balances secular and Torah studies, our students are equipped with the tools they need to pursue any path they choose. But YDLV is about more than just academic excellence. Its warm and welcoming environment fosters personal growth and character development, ensuring that every student is given the opportunity to shine and reach their fullest potential.
